Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 1/4 t. baking powder
- 2 T butter
- 2/3 cup milk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 450. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in cheddar cheese. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs form. Using a fork, stir milk into flour mixture until a soft dough forms. Do no over mix or overwork dough.
Drop dough in heaping teaspoons 1 inch apart onto baking sheet. Bake until biscuits are firm to the touch, about 15 minutes.
