Ingredients

  • 1/2 1/2c 1/2c sweet butter. room temperature
  • 1 1/4 1 1/4c. 1/4c. confectioner’s sugar
  • 3/4 3/4c. 3/4c. dark Dutch Cocoa
  • 1 1 1 egg
  • 2 2 2 tsp. vanilla
  • Chocolate sprinkles or finely chopped nuts

Whip the butter until it is light and fluffy.

Sift together sugar and cocoa.

Add half the sugar and cocoa mixture slowly to the butter, mixing continually. Add the egg and vanilla, mix well, then slowly add the rest of the sugar and cocoa.

Refrigerate for 1 hour or longer.

Mold into small balls and roll in sprinkles or nuts.

Keep refrigerated.
