  • 2 cans Whole water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/2 pound bacon slices - approx
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (I use Lite)
  • Toothpicks

Step 1




Cut each bacon slice in half (across, not lengh-wise)

Wrap completely around chestnut and overlap - use toothpick to hold bacon in
place

Microwave several minutes until bacon is half cooked. Drain off fat

Mix brown sugar and soy sauce. Pour over everything and refrigerate until
you want to serve them (or if you want to serve right away, you don't need
to refrigerate)

Microwave again, turning pan several times, until bacon is cooked. Serve
