Ingredients
- 1/3 c water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 c butter
- 6 eggs
- 12 oz bittersweet chocolate

Step 1
Coat round cake pan w/ spray and parchment paper and spray again.
Boil water & sugar. Remove from heat. Add butter, chocolate & salt. Sit 2 minutes. Stir in almond extract. Whisk eggs until white and yolks combined. Mix into chocolate mixture. Pour into cake pan. Put cake pan in roaster w/ warm water halfway up pan. 325, 45 minutes
Invert and cool.
Heat ½ c heavy cream to boiling. Stir in 4 oz bittersweet chips and stir to melt. Cool 2 minutes. Pour over cake.
