Bourbon Marinated Steak

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp worchestshire sauce
- 1 tsp coarsely ground Black pepper
- 1/4 stp hot pepper sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1-2 flanks steaks( 1 1/2 pounds each),trimmed

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a jumbo self sealing plastic bag( 2 gallons)Combine all ingredeients except steak(s)
2. Aded steak(s), turning to coat. Seal bag, pressing out excess air. Place plastic bag in a shallow baking dish and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally
3. Remove steak(s) from Marinade, discard marinade
4. Grill or Broil steak(s) over med high heat . Cook 10 minutes each side for medium rare- medium( depending on thickness of steaks)
5. Let steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing
NOTE: Delicious with Smashed potatoes and balsamic mushrooms
