Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1.5 oz. powdered sugar
  • 1 cup flour {5oz}
  • 1 cup pecans, fine chop {4oz}
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2-1 tablespoon very COLD water
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar {2oz}

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°F
Cream butter and sugar on high-speed until fluffy. Add flour, pecans, vanilla, cardamom and salt. Mix until combined, dribbling in COLD water a little at a time, ½ tablespoon of water should be enough, use the 2nd if the dough seems very dry.

Roll dough into ½” balls in the palm of your hand and place on cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still very warm. Roll again when cool.
