Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup boiling water

Step 1
Place all ingredients in large bowl, adding boiling water lasat. Beat on high with electric mixer for 10 minutes. This makes enough icing for a large angel food cake or two or three cake layers. Food coloring may be added for color.
