Ingredients
- 1 16oz. French bread loaf
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Step 1
Spray 9x13" pan. Cut bread into 10 slices (about 1" thick). Combine brown sugar, butter, and maple syrup. Spread in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla for several minutes or use mixer. Put bread flat into pan (don't overlap) Pour egg mixture over top. Cover with foil and let sit in refrigerator at least 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. (For crisper top, bake uncovered the whole time. For softer top, bake covered the whole time.
