Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 T light corn syrup
- 3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix sugar and cocoa in a saucepan.
2. Stir in butter, milk and corn syrup.
3. Bring to boil, boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove spoon and set pan in cold water to cool. When you can hold your hand on bottom of pan, syrup is cool enough.
4. Stir in confectioner's sugar, vanilla and nuts.
5. Stir until thick enough to spread. Spread into 8 x 8 pan. Cut into squares.
