  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 c hot water
  • 1 1/2 c walnut pieces
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1

In a skillet over medium heat, heat sugar stirring constantly until it begins to melt. Reduce heat to medium low until completely melted and brown in color. Stir in hot water and stir until it liquefies again. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour in jars and store at room temperature. Will seem as if it has burnt; it hasn’t.
