Ingredients

    lb ground chuck - I use more

  • 1

    C diced onion

  • 1

    C sliced celery

  • 1

    C sliced carrots

  • 2

    cloves minced garlic

  • 16 oz can tomatoes

  • 15 oz can tomato sauce

  • 1

    can yellow hominy

  • 2

    C water

  • 5

    tsp beef bouillon

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 1/2

    tsp oregano

  • 1/4

    tsp basil

  • 1/4

    tsp pepper

  • 2

    C shredded cabbage

  • 1/2

    cup macaroni

Directions

1. Brown beef and drain. 2. Add all other ingredients except cabbage and macaroni and bring to boil; cover and simmer 30 minutes. 3. Add cabbage and macaroni; bring to boil and simmer until veggies are tender.
