Ingredients

  • Fudge Frosting:
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 36 marshmallows,cut in half
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups powered sugar 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa 2 tablespoon butter

Combine shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla,cocoa, flour, baking soda salt and milk. Mix till smooth. Stir in nuts. Drop cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 375 for 8 minutes. When done, top each cookie with a marshmallow cut side down. Return to oven for one minute. Cool and frost with Fudge Frosting below.

Fudge Frosting: Mix in double boiler and bring to boil. Beat until smooth. Frost cookies and top each with a pecan half.
