Ingredients
- 5 T unsalted butter, melted
- 3 T butter
- 2 C warm water
- 2-1/2 C Belgian waffle mix
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C cinnamon
- 4 Fuji or Gala apples, peeled, cored and cut into 9 slices each
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 t lemon juice
- 12 slices of bacon, ccrisp
- maplle syrup

Step 1
Using 5 T melted butter, water and waffle mix, prepare waffles according to package instructions. In non-stick fry pan over med-high heat, melt 3 T butter. Add sugar and cinnamon; cook, stirring frequently until sugar has melted, 30-60 secs. Add apples and vanilla, cooking, stirring frequently until tender, 12-14 mins. Stir in lemon juice. Stack waffles on individual plates, top with apples and bacon. Drizzle with maple syrup.
