Baked Brie with Strawberries

Ingredients
- 1 (1 to 1 1/2lb) unsliced round load whole grain bread
- 1 (1 1/2 to 2#) round Brie cheese with rind, 6 to 8" in dia.
- Fresh Strawberries
- Apple Slices
- Lemon Juice

Step 1
slice 1/2" off the top of the bread and save for another use.
Cut loaf. If necessary, trim cheese into a circle of 2" smaller than the dia. of the bread. Insert cheese into bread, then wrap in foil.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes, or until heated through. Top with strawberries and apple slices in dipped in leon juice. Slice into wedges to serve.
To make a bread shell, insert toothpicks in a circle around the top of the cut loaf, 1" from the edges. Use a serrated knife to cut down through the load around the toothpicks, leaving a base 1" thick...use your fingers to gently remove the center.
Use your microwave oven to make baked Brie without the bread.
Place 1 (4 1/2 ounce) round Brie cheese, rind removed, in a small non-metal shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with broken pecans or walnuts. Microwave uncovered on 100% power (high) about 30 seconds or until the cheese begins to melt and lose its shape.
Serve immediately with fresh fruit or unsalted crackers.
