Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups shredded old cheddar cheese
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp dried oregano
- 3/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 6 green onions, finely chopped

Preparation
Step 1
In bowl, stir together flour, cheese, baking powder, sugar, oregano, mustard and salt. Combine egg, milk and butter, add to dry ingredients along with onions, stirring until combined.
Spread into greased and floured 1.5 L floured pan. Bake in 350 oven for 40-45 minutes or until tester inserted into center comes out clean. Let cool on rack for 10 minutes before turning out of pan. Serve warm.
