Creamy Balsalmic Shrimp Pasta

The balsamic can be strong, probably use a little less and taste it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of frozen shrimp
  • 1 pound of fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup of Balsamic dressing plus 2 tablespoons
  • 4 oz. of cream cheese cubed
  • 1 can of petite diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of basil
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook fettuccine, drain

Marinade shrimp in 1/2 cup of balsamic in the refrigerator, this is where it got strong tasting, maybe do this step, maybe not

Heat tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of the dressing and basil for 2 -3 minutes in saute pan.

Add cream cheese and stir until melted.

Add thawed shrimp to skillet, cook until just warm.

Pour mixture over top of pasta.
