Ingredients

• Filling:
• Chocolate Cake Mix
• 1 tub milk chocolate frosting (Has to be milk chocolate - no substitutes!)

• 5 Tablesoons flour
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup shortening (Crisco)
• 1/2 cup real butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix and bake cake mix according to directions. Cool. Cut layers in half to make 4 layers.

Mix flour and milk. Cook until very thick. Cool. Cream sugar, Crisco, and butter. Add flour mixture and beat until creamy. Add vanilla beat to blend.

Spread filling between layers. Icing cake with a tub of Chocolate frosting.
