Ingredients
- 8 c day-old bread
- 9 eggs
- 2 1/4 c milk
- 1 3/4 c heavy whipping cream
- 1 c sugar
- 3/4 c butter, melted
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Step 1
Place bread cubs in a greased 12 x 9 dish. In large bowl, whish the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, butter, vanilla and cinnamon., Pour evenly over bread. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
1 c sugar
¼ c water
1 T lemon juice
2 T butter
1 c heavy whipping cream
Bring the sugar, water and lemon juice to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook until sugar is dissolved and mixture turns a golden amber color. Stir in butter until melted. Add cream. Remove form heat. Serve with bread pudding. (I poured on top)
