Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 c crushed vanilla wafers
- 6 T butter
- Combine crumbs (food processor) and butter. Press on the bottom and sides of spring-form pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 mins.
- Cake:
- 1 14 oz bag of carmels
- 1 5 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 c pecans or walnuts
- 16 oz cream cheese
- ½ c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup semi-sweet choc chips

Step 1
Melt carmels with milk in microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stire and heat for 1-2 more minutes as needed. It will be fairly runny. Pour over crust and top with nuts.
Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mix well each time. Pour into pan over crust. Drizzle melted chocolate over cheese cake and cut with knife to make it swirly. Pour more nuts over top if so desired.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Test doneness with a knife in the middle. Let cool for a few minutes and then loosen cake with knife around the edge and middle Cool and chill.
