Kirstie Alley's Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

By

Never made gravy like this but it looks so easy and wonderful too. Don't drain the sausage, just add in the milk and flour mixture and it will incorporate the sausage grease, kinda like making a roux.

1 1/2 cups Milk
Your favorite Biscuit Recipe

instructions
Combine flour and milk in a bowl and whisk until combined thoroughly. Stir milk mixture into sausage and bring to a boil, and cook until thickened, about 10 minutes. Add more milk, if needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour gravy over biscuits to serve.

Helpful Tips:
1. The recipe calls for half sweet and half spicy sausage, but you can personalize to taste.
2. If you’re nervous about mixing in the milk, then whisk the milk and flour first before adding it to the sausage.
3. If the gravy is too thick, then add milk. If the gravy is too loose, then whisk in more flour.
