Ingredients
- To remaining 1/2 crumbs add:
- Crumbs
- 1 T Crisco
- 1 c flour
- 2/3 c brown sugar
- Reserve 1/2 of crumbs for top.
- 1 c King Syrup
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp soda dissolved in 3/4 c boiling water

Step 1
Mix 2-3 minutes in mixer. Will be very thin. Pour molasses mixture in pie shell. Scatter reserved crumbs on top being sure to touch crust with crumbs and having entire molasses mixture covered with crumbs. 375-10 minutes; 350-30 more minutes.
My crust edge was getting pretty brown so I turned oven back to 330 last 15 minutes.
