Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter (1 stick)
  • 4 Tbs (60 ml) powdered (confectioner's) sugar
  • 1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
  • 1 cup (250 ml) nuts, finely chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and other ingredients and stir. Chill for one hour. Make into "fingers" (pinch up) the size of a small walnut. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes at 300F (180C). Let cool and roll in powdered sugar.
