Ingredients

  • 6 Large chicken breasts (skinned, boned and diced)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup chestnuts (drained)
  • 1 cup sliced bamboo shoots (drained)
  • 2 cups sliced celery
  • 2 cups french or thin sliced green beans (drained)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 TBSP cornstarch (mixed with a little water)

Preparation

Step 1

Saute breasts in large pot until it turns white
Add: Chestnuts, shoots, celery, beans, broth and soy sauce and mix
Add: Spices
Add: cornstarch mixture to broth until it thickens and is transparent.
Simmer for 5 minutes
Serve over rice
