Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated croissant dough
  • 1 - 2 wheels of brie cheese (usually in specialty cheese case - I prefer 2 if you are cutting the rind off)
  • slivered almonds
  • honey
  • crackers for serving

Preparation

Step 1

Lay dough flat and pinch all of the joints closed ~ they are perforated into triangles for "normal" use.

Cut all of the white rind off of the cheese
Place cheese, stacked in the center of the dough, and wrap the dough up around the cheese. Cut off any excess dough.

Bake on a greased baking sheet according to the croissant dough instructions on the tube. Once out of the oven, pour as much honey as you like over the top and then sprinkle with the slivered almonds.

Serve with crackers.
