- Lemon zest + minced garlic
- Orange zest + chopped fresh rosemary
- Minced shallots + chopped fresh tarragon
- Chopped fresh basil + herbes de Provence
- Chopped fresh cilantro + ground cumin
- Chopped fresh chives + chopped capers
- Chopped fresh parsley + minced garlic + crushed re pepper flakes
- Lime zest + smoked paprika
- Lemon zest + chopped anchovies + minced garlic
- Grainy nustard + minced shallots

Preparation
Step 1
Mix room temperature butter and a generous pinch of salt with any of the following seasonings and pack it into small bowl or ramekin (or shape into a log on a piece of plstic wrap, wrap tightly, and regrigerate or freeze for future slicing). Store in the refrigerator for up to a few days (if the butter has garlic or onions in it, its flavor will get more pungent as it ages).
