Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup chopped fully cooked ham
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup uncooked couscous
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, combine the water, ham, spinach and garlic salt. Bring to a boil. Stir in couscous. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5-10 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork. Sprinkle with cheese. Yield: 4 servings.
