Wash and peel the potato. Cut into small pieces and place into a saucepan. Break off the ends of the green beans (if fresh) and pull the strings off the sides. Cut into small pieces. Place in the saucepan with the potato pieces. Add enough water to cover the potato and green bean pieces. Bring the water to a boil; then simmer until the potatoes and beans are very tender, about 15 minutes. Place beams, potatoes and pork Ina food processor or blender and purée for 30 seconds. Add cooking water gradually to make the mixture smoother.
