Ingredients

  • 1 package of flower enchiladas (Tortilla)
  • 1 lb of hamburger meat
  • 1 can of "Hot" enchilada sauce
  • 1 small can of tomato sauce
  • 1 large onion: chopped
  • 1/2 lb of Velveeta Cheese; chopped
  • 1/3 cup of oil
  • 1 bell pepper; chopped (optional)
  • 1 (8oz) can of water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix enchilada sauce, tomatoe sauce with 8 oz of water; heat in sauce pan.

In large skillet; heat the oil

Fry the hamburger meat separately

Using large 13" X 9" X 2" dish or pan, pour 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture into the bottom.

Take each tortilla and pass thru the oil and then thru the sauce.

Place tortilla in dish and fill with hamburger, onion and cheese.

Roll tortilla into a tube shape with flap on the bottom.

When all tortillas are rolled and in the dish; pour remaining sauce over the top of the tortillas and top with cheese

Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted (approximately 15 minutes).
