Ingredients
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 fresh chili pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black peppercorns
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 can white kidney beans
- 1 lb kale, trimmed of stems and centre ribs

Step 1
1. Add onions to pan and cook, stirring until softened. Add garlic, chili pepper, oregano, salt and peppercorns and cook, stirring for 1 minute. Stir in vinegar and transfer mixture to slow cooker stoneware.
2. Add broth, beans and kale and stir to combine. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, until kale is softened and mixture is bubbling.
