Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 slices reduced fat Swiss cheese
  • 6 oz. shaved deli ham
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 T. 1% low-fat milk
  • 2 t. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. cranberry dressing/chutney
  • turkey optional

Preparation

Step 1

Top 4 slices of bread with 1 cheese slice. Divide ham evenly over cheese (and turkey if both). Top with remaining bread slices.

Combine eggs and milk in shallow dish, stirring well with a whisk.

Heat a large nonstick griddle over medium heat. Coat with cooking spray. Dip each sandwich in egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Add sandwiches to pan, cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.

Slice in half diagonally, spring with sugar and serve with cranberry.
