Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of button mushrooms, sliced (or your favorite type)
  • 2 T. butter
  • 2 shallots, minced
  • 1 T. minced garlic
  • 2 T. red wine
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat butter over medium high heat until melted. Add garlic and shallots and cook about 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for about 2 more minutes. Then add wine and reduce down. Salt and pepper to taste then serve over steak or chicken.
