Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup plain malted milk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips (about 2 cups)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

In medium bowl, combine flour, malted milk powder, soda, and salt. Mix well with a wire whisk. Set aside.

Blend sugars using an electric mixer set at medium speed. Add butter and mix, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add the eggs, vanilla, and condensed milk, and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.

Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips, and blend at low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookies sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes until cookies are slightly brown along edges. Transfer cookies to cool surface with a spatula.
