Picnic Brownies

Ingredients

• Cream Cheese Filling:
• 3/4 c. margarine or butter
• 1/2 c. cocoa
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/3 c. sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 3/4 c. flour
• 3/4 tsp. baking powder
• 2 c. chocolate chips, divided
• 1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese
• 1/3 c. sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter, add cocoa. Beat eggs, add sugar and vanilla, flour, baking powder. Add cocoa mixture. Stir in 1 c. chocolate chips. Save 1/2 of the batter. Spread in pan. Cover with cream cheese filling. Spoon on rest of batter. Cut thru to marble. Sprinkle on top 1 c. chocolate chips and walnuts (optional). Cool. Keep in fridge. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
