Grandma Ann's beef tips & noodles, nice cold weather dinner. Eat with some buttered Italian bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb stew meat or London Broil cut into cubes. Cut them the size you want to eat later.
  • Gravy Thickener
  • Gravy Master
  • Extra wide egg noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Brown some garlic in olive oil. (Use what you like, I don’t use too much.)
Throw meat cubes in the pan and brown lightly on all sides-may need to do a little at a time if pan doesn’t fit it all.
When all the meat is browned, put all meat in the pan, add 2 cans chicken broth (14 oz cans). Add pepper to your taste. Cover and let cook until tender, 45 mins to an hour.

(Boil noodles when close to done.)

Add two packets of “gravy thickener”, we use turkey flavor. The package says mix one packet with two cups boiling water, I use one cup of water, mix and then stir it in the pan. Cook on a light boil to thicken. Add a dash of “gravy master” to darken the sauce.

Drain noodles, spoon sauce and meat over buttered noodles.
