Ingredients
- 1 pkg active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 3/4 cup lukewarm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. softened margarine
- 3 1/2 --3 3/4 flour

Step 1
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, sugar, salt, egg, margarine, and 2 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth. Mix in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. Turn dough onto slightly floured board. Knead until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double. Punch dough down. Shape into balls, Parkerhouse rolls, or crescents. Pans and baking sheets must be greased. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes.
