Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup choppped onion
- 2 cups hot water
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup chopped potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Pinch of basil
- 1/2 bay leaf, crumbled
- 3 whole tomatoes

Step 1
Brown onion and ground beef. Put all ingredients in saucepan, bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add more water if necessary.
