Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old-fashioned)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter and sugar; blend in eggs and vanilla. In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, soda and salt. Add to sugar mixture, mixing well. Shape dough to form 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with fork dipped in sugar to form crisscross pattern. Bake about 10 minute or until edges are golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire cooling rack.
