- 5 TABS. BUTTER
- 1 PKG (3 OZ) CREAM CHEESE
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 3 EGGS
- 1/2 CUP PLUS 1 TAB. FLOUR
- 1 1/2 TEAS. VANILLA
- 1/2 TEAS. BAKING POWDER
- 1/4 TEAS. SALT
- 1/2 CUP COARSELY CHOPPED NUTS
- 1/4 TEAS. ALMOND EXTRACT

Step 1
MELT CHOC. AND 3 TABS. BUTTER OVER LOW HEAT. COOL
CREAM REMAINING BUTTER WITH CR. CHEESE UNTIL SOFT.
ADD 1/4 CUPS SUGAR, CREAMING UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY
BLEND IN 1 EGG,1 TABS. FLOUR & 1/2 TEAS. VANILLA
BEAT REMAINING EGGS UNTIL THICK & LIGHT. ADD REMAINING 3/4 CUP SUGAR, BEAT UNTIL THICK. ADD BAKING POWDER,SALT, 1/2 CUP FLOUR. BLEND IN COOLED CHOC. MIXTURE,NUTS ALMOND EXTRACT & 1 TEAS. VANILLA.
MEASURE 1 CUP CHOC. BATTER & RESERVE.SPREAD REMAINING CHOC. BATTER IN GREASED 9" PAN. TOP WITH CHEESE MIXTURE. DROP RESERVE CHOC. BY TABS. ONTO CHEESE MIXTURE,SWIRL TO MARBLE.
BAKE AT 350 35-40 MINUTES.
