Ingredients
- Full Recipe:
- 6 potatos ; boiled in their skin
- 6 slices bacon ; crumbled
- 1/3 cup bacon grease
- 3/4 cup onion ; chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- dash pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- Half Recipe:
- 3 potatos ; boiled in their skin

- 2 1/2 tablespoons bacon grease
- 3/8 cup onion ; chopped
- 1 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- dash pepper
- 3/8 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
Boil potatoes in skins until tender; peel and slice thinly place into large bowl.
In 8" fry pan or saucepan; cook onions in bacon grease until tender; add flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper
Stir in gradually; water and vinegar; cook stirring until mixture boils.
Boil 1 minutes; pour over potatoes add crumbled bacon.
