Ingredients

  • 1

    teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1

    tablespoon canola oil

  • 1

    medium onion, cut in half and sliced thinly

  • 1

    Tablespoons minced fresh ginger

  • 3

    cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1

    medium sized carrot, peeled and sliced very thin

  • 2

    cups broccolini

  • 1

    cup shredded green cabbage

  • 1

    red pepper, sliced thinly

  • 8

    oz seitan

  • 2

    T light miso

  • 2

    T tamari (soy sauce)

  • 2

    T rice vinegar

  • Pinch crushed red pepper (optional)

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Add garlic and ginger. Cook 2 minutes. Add broccoli and seitan and cook for 2 more minutes. Mix miso into 1/4 cup warm water. Add tamari and rice vinegar. Stir to combine. Add to stir-fry and cook for 2 more minutes. Serve.
