Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 cus fresh lemon juice (from about 10 medium lemons)
- ice cubes

Preparation
Step 1
1. Prepare sugar syrup: In 2 qt. saucepan, heat sugar and water to boiling over high heat, stirring occasionalaly. Cover saucepan and boil 3 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat.
2. Stir lemon juice into sugar syrup. Pour mixture into pitcher or glass measuring cup; cover and refrigerate until cold, about 3 hours. Serve over ice, stirring in additionl water if you like.
