Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/4 lbs butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp bkg powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Topping:
- 1 lb butter
- 1 cup honey
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp orange zest1/4 cup cream
- 2 lb pecans, coarsely chopped

Step 1
Crust:
Beat the butter and sugar until light, about three minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Whisk the dry ingredient and add them on low. Press the dough into a cookie sheet, edging the sides. Bake for 15 minutes at 350* until set but not browned.
Topping:
Combine butter, honey,brown sugar, and zest in a large saucepan. Cook over low until butter is melted then raise to a boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in the cream and pecans. Pour over the crust, bake for 25-30 minutes until the filling looks set.
