Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons Jameson Whiskey
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/3 cup salted butter, melted
- 3 whole eggs, beaten
- 3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 - 1 1/2 cup pecans

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix the white sugar, brown sugar, salt, corn syrups, butter, eggs, and vanilla together in a bowl.
Place crust in a 9 inch deep dish pie pan. Place the pecans in the unbaked shell.
Place the pie dish on a heavy-duty cookie sheet.
Pour the syrup mixture over the top. Bake the pie until it's no longer jiggles (approx. 1 hour 10 minutes)
Cover the pie loosely with foil for 20 minutes. This will keep if from browning too quickly.
Be careful not to burn pecans and crust. Check after 50 minutes. If it is browning too quickly, but the filling is not done, place the foil back on the pie.
