Ingredients
- Possible seasonings:
- Onion, diced medium
- Celery, chopped
- Potatoes, 1" cubes
- canned oysters, with juice
- Bacon, cooked crispy, chopped small
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 heaping Tbsp Flour
- 2 cups Milk or Half and Half
- Garlic
- Lemon
- Old Bay
- Paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bay leaf
- Fresh Parsley
- Fresh Chives
- Liquid Smoke

Preparation
Step 1
1. On stove top, sauté onion and celery in butter. Add salt and pepper to taste.
2. Add flour and stir over medium heat until flour gets a nutty smell, then pour into crock pit. You can deglaze pan and add that to crock pot as well.
3. Add potatoes, oysters, seasonings, milk/half and half. Stir.
4. Cook on low for 2-4 hours. During last half hour of cooking time, add fresh herbs and bacon.
