Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

cream together butter and sugar then combine with the molasses and egg

In a separate bowl combine the remaining dry ingredients

slowly mix some of the dry mixture with the creamed mixture until all mixtures are combined

roll into small balls and flatten with a fork

place on a greased cookie sheet and cook for 8 to 10 min.
