Ingredients
- 3 qt fresh popped corn (1/2 c unpopped)
- 1 c unsalted roasted cashews
- 1 c salted roasted macadmia nuts
- 1 c whome almonds or pecan halves
- 1 c firm packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 c lt corn syrup
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 T finely grated orange zest
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t vanilla extract (essence)
- 1/2 t baking soda

Step 1
Preheat oven 250*. Butter large roasting pan. Combine the popped corn and nuts in prepared pan, mixing well. Place in heating oven while preparing glaze.
In large heavy saucepan over med heat, combine sugar, syrup, butter, zest and salt. Bring to boil, stir constantly until sugar dissolves. boil 4 min without stirring. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and soda. Gradually pour glaze over popped corn mixture, stirring to coat well.
Bake until dry, stirring occasionally, about 1 hr. Remove from oven, using metal spatual, free from bottom of pan. Let cool completely in pan. Break into clumps. Store in airtight container room temp up to 1 week
