Ingredients
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c granulated sugar
- 2 t ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 c slightly beaten egg whites (7-8)
- 1/2 c applesauce
- 1/2 c cooking oil
- 3 c finely shredded carrot
- 2 c powdered sugar, sifted
- 8 oz reduced fat cream cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Coat 15 x 10 in baking pan with cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda.
In a med bowl, stir together egg whites, applesauce and oil. Stir into flour mixture and stir in shredded carrot.
Spread batter into pan. Bake 25-30 min and cool completely on wire rack.
In med bowl, beat together sifted powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
Spread frosting over the carrot cake; slice into 36 bars.
