- butter for baking dish
- 1 baquette..8 oz. thinly sliced
- 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 t. vanilla
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 cup pecans,chopped

Preparation
Step 1
325*..butter 2 qt. baking dish..placed bread,slice on baking pan and toast for 15 min..let cool..meanwhile in large bowl,whisk together1/2-1/2, eggs, syrup,vanilla,salt..add bread to custard and toss..in dish stand bread upright,,pressing together to compact it.pour remaining custard over top and let set 10 min. sprinkle pecans over top and bake till brown and most of custard has been absorbed..make sure center is cooked
