Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- oil for frying
- powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the eggs, sugar, and salt. Beat well.
Add flour, milk and vanilla beat until smooth.
Heat a rosette iron in deep hot oil (375 degrees). Dip the hot rosette iron into the batter, being careful batter only comes 3/4 of the way up the side of the iron.
Fry rosette in the hot oil till golden about 1/2 a minute. Lift iron out,dtip slightly to drain off any excess oil.
With a fork, carefully push rosette off to paper towels place on a rack.
Reheat iron, make the next rosette.
Sift powdered sugar over the cooled rosettes.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
