Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 TBS baking powder
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup craisins
- pinch salt
- egg wash

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix flour and baking powder together in large bowl. Add butter and rub into flour with fingertips until the mixture resembles bread crumbs
2. Stir in sugar, craisins, salt
3. Gradually add milk until the mixture holds together to form a firm dough
4. Turn out onto floured surface. Knead lightly and flatten with hands until 1-1/2" thick
5. Cut out using a fancy round cookie cutter
6. Transfer to a cookie sheet covered w/ parchement paper
7. Brush top of each scone w/ egg wash
8. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15" or until lightly golden on touch.
9. Cool on wire rack.
